VMS China Server
The VMS China Server includes functionality to manage devices, security, rules, sites, and settings.
Settings
Settings in VMS China allow you to configure servers, general settings, email notifications, health monitoring, Enterprise Manager, updates, and backup and restore.
Servers
The Servers tab in the server configuration interface is the interface for configuring settings specific to individual VMS China Server instances in the server farm.
Server redundancy
VMS China supports server redundancy in server farms. If a VMS China Server stops responding, the camera and device processing moves to another VMS China Server.

You can configure VMS China to move cameras to a secondary server if the primary server goes offline.

You can configure VMS China to move cameras to a secondary server if the primary server goes offline.

In the server configuration interface, click Settings > Servers.
Select a server and click Edit.
In the Server Group list, select a server group that includes a server that does not have any cameras.
Click Enable Failover.
