Security settings in VMS China allow you to configure authentication for users, set and change permissions for users and groups quickly, and add watermarks to video.
Users
Users are individuals with permission to use VMS China.
Supervisor impersonation
Supervisor impersonation allows two users with lesser permissions to log in simultaneously to impersonate a single user with greater permissions.

Two users can log in to the VMS China Client to impersonate a user and gain access to additional functionality.

Impersonate a supervisor

Two users can log in to the VMS China Client to impersonate a user and gain access to additional functionality.

In the client interface, click the user name and then click Log On/Switch User to open the Logon window.
In the Server list, select the VMS China Server for which you have configured supervisor impersonation.
Type the credentials for the first user.
Select the Supervisor Logon box.
Type the credentials for the second user.
Type the name of the supervisor-impersonation user.
In the Reason field, type the reason for impersonating a supervisor.
Click OK.
